Groundbreaking for Safe Playground Build at Politz Hebrew Academy
Philadelphia, Pa. (Vocus) May 29, 2009 -- Keystone Mercy Health Plan, the largest medical assistance managed care organization in Pennsylvania, will hold a groundbreaking ceremony on Monday, June 1, 2009, for the construction of a new, safe playground at Politz Hebrew Academy, an Orthodox Jewish school that has 280 students, grades pre-kindergarten through eight. The project is a part of Keystone Mercy Health Plan's Safe Playground Program which is designed to create safe environments for children to participate in healthy physical activity.
This is the sixth playground built by Keystone Mercy Health Plan since the inception of the program in 2007. The playground will be built in one day, on Friday, June 5, 2009, by more than 40 Keystone Mercy and community volunteers.
